Icare Motorcycle Concept

The Icare motorcycle concept is a cross between something from Tron and "a kind of Porsche or Aston Martin for the two-wheeled world," according to France-based Enzyme Design, the minds behind the concept. It's intended to have a six-cylinder 1.8 liter Honda engine, which is more than what you'd find in some compact cars. Will it ever go into production? No word, but Enzyme's earlier L'atomo concept did, so future bikers will have some hope.

Targus portable folding speaker

Targus has just rolled out its new portable foldign speaker known as the AEM0702AP in Korea. I suppose you could always slip a love note inside it when folded to your mate, surprising her as she opens it at work to listen to the new CD you bought for her. Of course, if she happens to work in a place where power outlets are hard to come by, it would be prudent to include a quartet of AAA batteries into the mix so that these speakers can be powered. Alternatively, just hook it to your computer’s USB port and you’re good to go. No idea on pricing though.

Lukid's PC

If there’s one thing parents don’t mind spending on their kids, it would be education. Of course, health comes first, but getting a good education is of utmost importance no matter which part of the world you’re from. With the introduction of classroom PCs by Intel, it makes perfect sense for Daewoo Lucoms to jump onto the bandwagon with its low-cost education-use mobile computer equivalent known as Lukid. It has the Intel Celeron 900MHz processor running at the heart of things, powered by Windows XP. The 9″ LCD display, 512MB RAM and 30GB hard drive round off the list of specifications. Lukid is tipped to retail for slightly more than $500 in Korea.

World's Most Expensive iphone

If you’re a fan of luxury phones, you’re going to like this. The iPhone has currently been luxed up by Australian jeweler Peter Aloisson. The result is the iPhone Princess Plus - the world’s most expensive iPhone. 138 of the total amount of diamonds are “princess cut” stones, which is where the name iPhone Princess Plus comes from.
The other 180 diamonds used the brilliant cut. These diamonds total 17.75 carats and are inlaid on 18k white gold. The price of this sparkling baby is $176,400. Of course, an alternative version containing only the brilliant-cut diamonds is available for “only” $66,150.

Story of Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great is known as the most powerful military leader and conqueror of the ancient world. Before he turned 30 years old he conquered an empire stretching over 3,000 miles from Greece to India. He was born in 356 BC in Macedonia, known today as northern Greece.

On his sickbed and during his last hour alive, Alexander the Great told his generals "After my death, when you put my body in the casket, let my arms hang over the edges with my palms wide open, so the public can see my empty hands while I am leaving the world." After he died, many dignitaries came to view the royal funeral and were very surprised to see his arms hanging over the edge of the casket with his palms wide open. They asked questions about this unique scene. A wise man told them “O’ People, Alexander the Great is telling us that when he ruled the world, great treasures of gold, silver and wealth came to be under his possession. Yet, indeed he is leaving the world empty handed."
